Oh dear me! It just figures, get a full time job and the first thing; problems! Mr Paws did you know about this before you hired me? LUNCH: Today I had a nice turkey and cheese sandwich with lettuce and mayonaise on a Nickels seeded deli bun with a nice hot bowl of chicken soup. (Cold season you know.)

London Broil with a side of Hashbrowned Potatoes (w/cheese) The London Broil was seared on the barby and left medium. Served with a big icy glass of Crystal Lite Lemon Tea.
To make the potato dish, you use the frozen country style hashbrowns...being it is just me these days, I used 1-1/2 cups of frozen taters since they shrink when they cook. Use either a well-seasoned cast iron skillet, or a non-stick one. Melt three pats of butter and add the taters. Add a small amount of water to the skillet, cover with lid, and allow to steam for a bit. Stir the taters once and add a bit of water if all has cooked out...re-cover and this time cook the water out, stirring as necessary to prevent scorching. Just before turning off the fire and serving, put a slice of povolone cheese on top of the taters and allow to melt. Stir to distrubute the cheese throughout the taters...then enjoy. Povolone, Swiss, or Mozzarella cheeses are lower in trans-fat than some other cheeses...and they enhance the buttery flavor of the taters! ;D

A Checkers Deep Sea Double fish sammich....don't scold, I'm weak and I ate the fries too, but they were small and I got a diet Coke; that helps right?

I should have seen this coming when she asked for plain rice the other day; KAOPECTATE, maybe some cheese and yogurt.

For lunch I had breakfast! Don't know what the wife had. After getting up at 04:00 and spending the next two hours in the bathroom, I went back to bed since she had to be at work at 08:00 and I didn't get back up until 10:00...

Some leftover steak the kids brought over this morning. Mom broiled it in the oven with lots of garlic and onion. I stuck a chunk in between two pieces of wheat bread and made a great sammich to wash down with a cup of hot tea.

Coice of meatloaf, beef stew (Better get it quick. There's only 3 gallons left!), BBQ chicken, oatmeal cake, hard boiled eggs, or cornbread.
