Now that's what I'm talking about!! And it all started with dunkin' an egg in hot water!! Look how simple these recipes are and I'll just bet that most everyone who reads them can mentally taste the result and will be trying them out. I know I will. Thanks Chuck1 and TT. These are super. Steven those , "scrambles" look delicious as well. Preparing an omelet is a tad more difficult than a boiled egg; but, I think we are ready to move from boiled to fried. That is if you guys will grant me the latitude to return to poached eggs after we do fried. Poaching is a bit tricky and takes some skill to pull it off properly. But before we continue, to commence, to begin, to go forth; lets ask if there is any further comment, discussion, or questions regarding boiled eggs. Thanks again for the recipes!! Comments, questions, discussion???

Poached eggs UUUUMMMMMM...sounds like something I did years ago....we called it just steak and poached eggs.....
take two eggs and poach them...serve over an English muffin cut in half....
on the side, slice some left over heated steak ....add to plate along with cuccumber slices, tomato, pickle slices....a very refreshing meal that will fill..........
By the way, poaching is one of the healthiest ways to eat eggs...just boil some water, crack the egg and drop it in once it starts to solidify just give it a light swirl in the pot....it will be done when you see a light skn over the yolk....gently lift out of the water and serve.....

Nope. Not correct. Like I said it is a bit more difficult than it looks. We'll take it up after fried eggs there Steven. Nice try though! Are there any other questions before we do fried eggs? (What did I do with my Jeopardy Theme?)

well here is Pooh Bear's deviled egg recipe...
1 dozen boiled eggs (preped and peeled) 2 Tablespns Dill pickle juice 1 Tablespns of prepared mustard 2-3 Tablespns of Mayo salt, pepper, garlic to taste
cut eggs in half lengthwise...seperate the yokes from the whites and place them in a non-reactive bowl, add 1 tablespn of the pickle juice then mash the yokes up with a fork...if it needs to be moister add more of the pickle juice add the mayo, mustard and seasonings blend this mix well...it should be of a paste consistancy (sort of like a medium stiff frosting)...using a teaspoon fill each cavity sprinkel with paprika and chill...and pooh says try not to eat to many while putting this recipe together or you'll have none for your guest ;D

Of course I assume we mean chicken eggs. In todays markets they are not the only eggs available. There are goose, duck and ostrich plus a whole mess of other kinds if you want to raise the birds yourself. Basically all bird eggs are edible and all are different with different tastes and "textures" so they all can be cooked different.

Eggs are eggs. Adjusting for size, viscosity, density, etc. may be a requirement. Cooking/preparation techniques are static. recipes may vary.
