Y'all ever seen a "Cajun Microwave" ? It's a wooden box roughly 4 ft long, 2 1/2 ft wide and 2 ft deep. It's lined with aluminum or stainless steel or beer cans cut open, just depends on how cajun you are. The the top of it is a large steel pan or plate. You put your hog, chicken, or other meats and veggies in there. Put the top on it and build the fire on top. Just keep the fire going for about 8 to 12 hours. keep an eye on the moisture inside so things don't dry out. and never open the top until it's time to add wood or rebuild the fire. When it's all done, you'll know. Have fun ;D Oh by the way, you can do the exact same thing by digging a hole in the ground and using a metal cover over it.....
