And the dominoes are falling into place! Our publishers have sent a proposal to a documentary film maker to gauge his interest in doing a piece based on the cookbook. He in turn submitted a proposal to a production company in NYC to do a pilot for a reality/cooking show based on our Country Carnivore cookbook. Holy Crap... They loved the idea. I have to submit my idea for a format and a list of set locations by next Monday!!!!

Wish ya'll was down her this weekend! Trish is filming the setups in the kitchen tomorrow and I'll be there Saturday for a big day of filming for the show!
I've got a wild S Fl Python I'm killing and butchering and Trish has invited over a few of our friends for a small dinner party to help us film and to get them to try some of our recipes.
Fried python fingers, python pot pie, and python rumaki, lol.
She's doing a big pot of beef stew also for those not quite so adventurous as to want to try the big snake.
Wish us luck!!! I'll try to post some photos Monday! ;D ;D ;D

She was raised by her granny and grew up in the kitchen of an old school Southern Lady!
Her cooking is incredible! I've enjoyed it many times now and never have found a complaint!
Trish is sweet as fresh honey, incredibly beautiful, and a goddess in her kitchen... I tell ya Brother; I'd marry that gal in a New York minute!!! ;D

Well that covers everything important except politics, hormone fluxuation reaction, religeon, bathroom routine, generosity, and tolerance for mud, gun oil, smelly dogs, doe scent, and loud engines! Got to be EQUALLY yoked you know.

Politics - Conservative Hormones - stable Religion - Christian Bathroom habits - Housebroken Generosity - To a fault... Tolerance for mud - fair "" "" Gun oil - moderate "" "" smelly dogs - quite high "" "" Deer scent - favorable "" "" Loud engines - ambivalent Can't say as I've found a single flaw... Oh yeah, there's still that husband thing. Took her on her first deer hunt 2/2/13 and showed her 4 fat does. Damned if she wasn't prettier and better smelling than my usual hunting buddies here in Florida, lol.

The Rotary Club of Homossassa Spring, Fl. is hosting their annual "Shrimpapalooza" festival featuring a gumbo cookoff! Looks like the Country Carnivores are going to be there with a big ol' pot of seafood gumbo! My daddy is a Louisiana Cajun from Marrero, La and will be joining Trish and I. Nobody knows how many generations some of his gumbo recipes have been passed down from, but if them judges want sho'nuff real gumbo...they gonner get it!!!

You bet!!! ;D Definitely give a BIG plug to OCC and maybe get s'more folks in here. Although, I post in lots of different areas and nobody evr sees them cause we all get caught up with the new activity notices on top of the page and never scroll down to see who's posting and where. Got a gumbo recipe out of our recipe box here that I posted on Trish's wall on facebook (God, ain't she purty???) and we're going to use it on one of our practice runs and film it. Best believe you'll get some plugs!

My partner's got a sick baby on her hands... Might not be filming Friday... Please lift little Luke up in Prayers! He's got a 103 fever and not keeping much down. Dr says it's a virus and he'll bounce back quickly enough, but them fevers scare shit out of me.
