Dealers at Allkigator Jacks are buying 555 boxes of 22LR for 65 andf getting 95. I paid 37 just a couple of months ago. I could probably sell all my weapons and ammo and buy a n ew car right now.

Local WalMart is out of everything except a few 12G target loads, but they did just get in a dozen boxes of copper plated #4's in 12 G 3" and 3.5" Magnum for turkeys. Ridiculous bastards... Our local store used to do a helluva ammo business. Faith, lemme know what they wat for a bucket of them .22lrs. Used to get 50rnds for $.75 but them days appear to be long gone. It'll probably be the weekend before I make it down to Gallipolis. I'll see if they still got 'em. Was back in January when I saw them. Where they were setting is where they got the chick corals set up now.

One dealer at Allgator Jacks I talked to is buying boxes of 555 Remingtons 22LR HP CJs for $65.00 and selling them for $95.00 I believe I paid $29.00 for a box about a month ago. My bud is bringing me a box up this Easter and I am done with buyin g ammo unless I see a major sale. Concentrating on canned goods now and long shelf life boxed stuff.

Concentrating on canned goods now and long shelf life boxed stuff. Hehe....I'm concentrating on food too. But more on long term food that is actually food and not some chemical concoction that is molded or fused together to resembles what the label say it is. Add to this: 1) that it doesn't require immediate shelf/freezer space and is super fresh as long as I'm willing to wake up to gather, feed or sacrifice a bullet on it 2) is free of all the poisons we are allowed...er, mandated and regulated to eat to keep us sick so our hospitals, pharmaceutical and insurance companies stay in business 3) which continually contributes the garden's organic content 4) can become a self-sustaining food source through breeding and range feeding in the event I am no longer able to buy feed or replacement livestock. 5) if not available through domestic/agricultural production, can be foraged from nature.
That takes care of the milk, meat, butter, lard, honey, syrup, eggs, fruits, vegetables, herbs, nuts, berries, cornmeal, hooch, teas and most useful 'medicine'. I figure God gave me all these blessings and the skills to utilize them. It would be a carnal sin not to use them before spending money at a grocery store for things that will kill me.

www.sportsmansguide.com is advertising 2,500 round case of .40gr solid, .22LR ammo for $140.00 if you know anybody on the market. I may be ordering a case for myself along with a couple more boxes of .44mag @ $32.00 per box of fifty.
