We are supposed to be getting a Meijer in town. Hopefully it will be finished by this time next year.

Wal-Mart Says It Will Not Make Corporate Contributions To Support Or Oppose Controversial Issues Send Wal-Mart a "Thank You" for its statement. You have made a difference! Wal-Mart has announced it "will no longer make corporate contributions to support or oppose controversial issues unless they directly relate to their ability to serve their customers." AFA is pleased with this announcement. Wal-Mart made the announcement Tuesday afternoon. In response to Wal-Mart's statement, AFA has decided to cancel its efforts of encouraging people to not shop at Wal-Mart or Sam's Club this Friday and Saturday. We believe that Wal-Mart will remain neutral in cultural battles. Click here and find the next link to see the Wal-Mart announcement. secure.afa.net/afa/activism/signpetition.asp?id=1630Please send Wal-Mart a "Thank You" for its statement.

Phil, I see you got the same e-mail I got, but poszted it before I had a chance I think I will still boycott Wal-Mart for a while. In fact, if we don't go, we tend to save more money

Wal-Mart fast! I did send a thank you complete with my humble opinion of the gay choice of lifestyle and the inherent immorality. Not that I'm judging! As I explained the gays need our love and understanding but not our support and approval. I'm still homonausious. ;D
