Kids want to try this again this year (last time tasted like battery acid) since the oaks are dropping acorns like rain water. Was wondering, what would be the better trees to gather from. I heard live oak has the most acid, and white oak has the least. Any truth to that?
Be better to gather them from a particular type for the best tasting results? Any experiences?
Gonna go through several cycles of leaching the acid out this time since twice didn't do the trick last time they tried it.
