No trouble here. The wind would blow for a while then stop. Then it would blow some more and stop. Kind of like Mother Nature was catching her breath. I guess we got lucky around here.

We took six kids to the NASP Regional Archery Tournament last night. They shot well. I don't know if any of them will advance to the State Championship but at least they had fun. My youngest son was one of the shooters. He had a better tournament last year. Five of the kids shot 160 or better. I think three of them were over 200. One had 251. The best you can get is 300. Two kids, fourth graders and their first year of archery shot 160 and 166 respectively. Very good for them. Speaking of archery, look out for Cupid's arrows

Well done! Now for two more acts of charity and a couple good phone numbers I might be tempted to remove your probation, grant a full pardon, and expunge your records.

I bought ice cream for the kids after the shoot even for one who was not shooting for us. He was the brother of one of my youngest archers.

Saturday night was fun. We went to the hotel where we had dinner then a comedy show. The opening act was not that funny. Tom Mabe did good. After the show the dancing started. We danced most of the songs. I could not believe it when as we were leaving "I" was complimented on my dancing. I owe that to my date.

Got some new rubber on the van today. These should last me about four years...I hope. The last set lasted three but I got some better tires this time and they should also grip well on boat ramps.

My girlfriend's daughter has not been feeling well so I picked up a box of hot chocolate that she likes and brought it to her.

My boys are excited about the news I told them a couple of days ago. I booked a seven day cruise for the three of us during their Fall break in October. That will be seven days in the Western Carribean. We will visit Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Belize and Isla Roatan. This will be there first time for a cuise and going out of the country. We can't wait.

Carter, Vacation with family is great, for sure, but no matter what a great place you are visiting, be careful. We as Americans are targets almost everyplace we may go. Even the cruise ships themselves are not exempt from attacks. I certainly do not want to rain on your vacation.....I am just saying be careful! snake-eyes

Prepare to walk the plank at Grand Cayman. They don't have a deep water port so you must transfer to a small boat via wooden plank from a loading dock on the ship. We took the Ecstasy, which ship are you taking?

We are sailing on the Legend. Last time I was there (2006) I was on Miracle. Grand Cayman is a beautiful place.
Thanks for thinking of our safety Snake. When I was in Belize on last cruise I walked from the port to a fire station two or three miles inland. It was early morning and kids were on the way to school. Cops were on most every corner. I hung around the station for a while visiting with the guys and when I was about to leave one of them asked if I had walked there. I said yes. He eyed me up and down. (I had a camcorder strapped on my shoulder and a Walmart bag in my hand to carry trade goods in) Then he said I guess you'll be alright. I wasn't worried. Maybe too naive or something. And it was still early in the morning there. I did not have one problem.
Phil, I plan to get them their passports this month.

I don't know if it was good or bad but here's what transpired: I showed up at 08:30. Court started at 10:00. Judge called other Judge's cases first then went to his docket. My attorney was still not there. Kind of worried. Judge called my case. I said no council present so he said he would come back to me. My attorney showed up. He said he was late because he was on phone with "her" attorney. Apparently she is planning to file bankruptcy next week. So, we have to put case on hold to see if she actually does. This is just a ridiculous thing she is doing and I will be glad when it is all over. She needs to get a life.

I'm a bit confused.
Why would her filing or not filing a bankruptcy effect anything?

Apparently there is some kind of Federal rules regarding bankruptcy and current litigation. It could actually work in my favor. We'll see.

I guess it would favor you if she filed before a judgment if you are trying to get funds from her since she could not file again after a judgment and she would have no choice but to pay. However, actually getting anything would be remote either way. Bankruptcy would give her some protection but only on a monetary level.Anything outside of the monetary aspect I would think could proceed. If your paying your attorney by the hour I'd be suspicious and even more so if there is the possibility of you having to pay her attorney.
Yea, I've seen how corrupt the legal system is and can be and I don't trust any of them including my own attorneys.

I am not responsible for paying her attorney. If anything she should be the one paying everything. She is the cause of all this mess due to her violent and physically abusive nature.
