Well I have a question about my bass. It had these yellow looking worms along its dorsel? fin. or that big fin down it's back. Are they harmless and can you still eat the fish. I know the cats can and they loved it.

Throw that bass away. This time of the year in real warm water, most fish; bass brim, crappies get wormy and are NOT good to eat. The parasites are all through the fish and will transfer to anyone who eats them. The fleas gets real soft and mushy, even after cooking. Best not to eat them or even give to your cats!

CG just cook them fish real good them worms are 100% proten Griz; The big lk. is Superior or Michigan? I fish the small Lk. Huron around the thumb.Salmon fishing has sucked this year in Lk. Huron there no bait fish, a 3 year old salmon only goes 8-10# skinny. Now if your in to Greesers (Lk. Trout) they are feeding on the Gobies on the bottom.

The big lake is Lake Superior. Our lake trout fishing has been excellent. No greasers, as we don't have them flucking alwives up here. The fish don't binge feed so they stay very nice. The lakers are nice and lean, no belly fat. Excellent eating. The coho fishing ahas been pretty good also. We are about three weeks away from our salmon run.

Hard to say if they will be really cranking by then. Our weather has been so unpredictable and has been fluxuating like crazy, Water is still real warm The other day it was 62.4 degrees from top to bottom all the way out to 120ft. Average king up here is in the 20lb range. Real nice fish once they show up
