Welcome to Ohio Camp Cooks! Let me take this opportunity to shake your hand and invite you to come sit by the campfire and join in in "sharing what you know" and "learning what you don't know." That's what Ohio Camp Cooks is all about. Well, that and preparing good food outside and sharing it with our friends. We are a gathering of hunters, hikers, campers, fishers, bikers, etc who all have a need for understanding what to do with our bounty collected from nature or simply how to keep ourselves fed while we participate in our outdoor hobbies. We are also about keeping track of how food preparation has evolved throughout history and passing that information to future generations. Grab a stump and make yourself comfortable. You will be treated like family as long as you act like family. Say what's on your mind, but keep it clean, honest, respectful, and friendly. Any less and you will be cordially invited to leave. ;D
Although many of the topics permit "Guests" to add their comments some do not. To make your visit more enjoyable please register. After you have registered you will receive a randomly assigned password at the e-mail address you provide which will allow you to "Log In".
I recommend that you log in each visit, selecting the option which keeps you logged in "all the time" you are present then log off when you leave. This reduces the number of programs running in the background and allows the system to work a little more smoothly. If you encounter a banner which states "Too Many Connections on This Server, Try Again In 30 Seconds"; hit your back arrow and try again in 30 seconds. The server is shared by several sites and at times it may become overloaded. This condition is short lived and relatively infrequent. Should you encounter any other problems with the system please post a private message to me or any of the other Administrators or Moderators. We will do everything possible to help resolve our problem. If at any time you wish to quickly return to the Ohio Camp Cooks web pages simply find any of the posts with the logo showing the Dutch oven and the words "Ohio Camp Cooks" and click on it. You will be returned to the OCC Web Site Home page and menu.
So jump in and introduce yourself so we can all get to know one another a little better.
Again, Welcome; and have fun!
