I built this huge bowie style knife that is multi use. It's overall length is 16.75" & width of blade is close to 4inches. I've cut trees and sliced steak; prepared meals, and split the hip bone when gutting a deer. I even used it to shave,.... as the mirror. I still have my senses. The sheath is worn on a belt across the small of the back. I've been doing F&I and RevWar events and they have no place for this item. I'm asking $100.00 plus $15 of the S&H. Send any questions via PM or email if more photos are wanted.

MadJack, that is a very nice knife...not practical in the field (for me) but would be a dandy in my collection..and like Steve out of my budget...but my birhday is coming up ;D ;D ;D ;D (kidding) good luck selling it...seems a shame to have to let it go....

The handle is the front upper leg joint of a buffalo. the scrim on it is my signature. It's not deep and could be scratched off to do something else there. lt's about 4.5 pounds. I've had a couple guys at rondy say its more like a small cutlass and that used in a martial arts fashion, it's balanced really nice.

Jackis that the 'only' one you have made? I traded some military things in 75 or 76 near Circleville Ohio for one that is very similar. The blades and dimensions are nearly identical. The handle is bull horn. Traded with a fella named Phil Riley who lived in Columbus and was putting together a military museum. Any connection you know of?

It's the only one I know of. A friend of mine used a lazar cutter to cut out three blanks. As far as I know he still has two blanks and I made that one. I drew out a pattern and had a 7" X 3/4" tang added. Then there wasa lot of grinding, sanding, heat treating and polishing. I've seen several that are simular to it though. Another friend of mine has one that's 15" long, 3" wide and 1/8" thick, which makes his a little lighter.
