Now that mountain brings up an interesting survival situation. How do you survive when literaly everything is gone?

I think it would help if you were in an area that you knew well.Everything would be buried, but I don't think it would be too much diff from a blizzard of snow. I know my areas well enuff to find enuff cranberries for a ruffed grouse stuffing in 2 ft of snow, so why not eating the tubers, berries & shoots, etc. until you find a carcass or shoot something? I doubt that I would be comfortable in such a bleak landscape, but survival is possible until you can make your way out or to pick up. One of the worst problems I foresee would be morale. Situations like this are a real test of one's preparedness & capabilities!

I saw the best way to survive St. Helens was to move to Montana
