;D I'm a member of The Rangers of the Ohio Company.
We're a reenactment association based outside Washington, PA which is located in Washington County in Southwestern PA. We have a 40+ membership and are still growing. Our home site is Burkes Station located on the Doug Burke Farm there.
We have our meetings as well as our own tactical and skill events at our location. There's an East and West Company of our Association which affords us the ability to attend many functions at many locals as a group, but not neccessarilly the same participants. Our period of events ranges from about 1750 in F&I to after the Whiskey Rebelion, up to about about 1820. We've been asked, by those who might want to join , how our officers and members are selected and/or promoted. We have a year probation period for you to get it right, kit etc. You are also required to create and submit for review, a first person persona background documentation as well as photo of you in kit. The founders are the officers and rule makers, as we mainly dipict a time where this country wasn't a democracy. They form our "Board of Trade", ;D so in order to maintain the association the way it was formed to be, we are not a democratic unit. The founders maintain control and will take suggestions for their review and consideration. All judgements are based on the good welfare of ROC.
We also have an associated group of our members who represent the First VA Regiment. Our membership has also been involved in many filmed period documentaries.
We have a website that was down do to server problems but is now up and running. We are always in construction and adding new pages. The site, under a new manager, Lt Larry Rowe of our eastern division, is adding many new pages now and in the near future. There is a message board and loads of photos grouped by year and event. I hope you'll check it out. Our site URL is:

If anyone has questions about our group, feel free to send me an email and I'll try to answer or get an answer for you.
