Been watching a forkhorn and a spike at my bpw blind every evening for the last four days. Waiting for a big doe and all I see is bucks. Those two are getting to be obnixous. They're going to push their luck and one of them is going to wind up as sausage! ;D I come home and have 8 to 14 deer in my yard A nice 9 pointer and a doe that is the size of a cow elk. MaBear won't let me shoot any of them!

Last three evenings I've seen the same bucks, a fork and a spike horn They are pushing thier luck, but I really do not want to shoot small bucks. Need them to grow up and get big. Been waiting for a nice fat doe but all I'm seeing is bucks!

Best suggestion I got was to shoot the big one in my yard when Ma wasn't home and tell her it got hit by a car! ;D

NO not yet. Going to wait until the regular season is over. If I don't harvest one by then I'll be taking sausage out.

Be sure to add a little maple flavoring to "sausage", for great breakfast eating!

Sausage is an overstuffed doe that visits Griz's back yard. I think she might be Ma Bear's pet.
