Anybody getting out and getting any practice done? Perfect time right now before bowfishing gets going. Though it seems even with lots of practice I can hit raccoons, foxes and even rabbits from my stand but miss deer by a mile.

I usually try to fling 5-10 per day. Enough to keep the muscles tuned, not enough to get tired or bored. What I do is try to make the very first arrow a kill shot, as that would be the arrow that is flung at a deer on stand.

I usually start right after turkey season ends. I had a gobbler bust me trying to raise the shotgun on Saturday, he ran I lowered the gun. Maybe next weekend
