Using up some of the egg whites that were leftover from making that lemon pudding stuff. Scrambled up a cup of them with some spinach, a little cheese and salsa.
Got about 3 cups of whites left. Might have to make an angel food cake with the rest of them.

Eggs, bread and vegetables with a hot liquid. Well, the chicken in the soup came from eggs, and the noodles would have been bread if baked, and the vegetables kept their identity and the hot liquid was not coffee rather broth!

Thinking real strong about visiting Ponderosa this morning for an omelet, chicken fried steak, biscuit and gravy, links, bacon, cheesy hash browns, gallons of hot fresh and maybe another serving of chicken fried steak with some scrambled eggs alongside. Yep I'm starvin'. Been sick for better'n a week and must be recovering.

Calves got a whole bale of hay, a scoop of grain, and their water trough scrubbed out and filled with fresh water. Hens and pullets got their feeders and waterer filled full, and some cracked corn. Puppies are on their third or fourth go 'round at kibble and water. Dogs moseyed around for a little bit and went back to bed. Hummingbird feeders are filled with fresh sugar water. Bird seed feeders are filled. Mousie got a taste of cheese and peanut butter before something went "SNAP" and it was lights out. Since 0600, I've managed to get a cup of instant decaf so far.

Nobody eats until those that keep you fed eat. So, if you want breakfast before noon, you gotta roll your butt out of bed and get a move on.

Two fried cackleberries with melted cojack and a quirt of ketchup on toast.
Was suppose to go in this morning for annual blood work and some sort of mobility check for my hip. I said the hell with it. I've had ciatica for over 30 years and I deal with it. I spent all off the last two weeks rolling around on the ground fixing the mower and managed to get back to my feet. I can still swing a 100# bag of grain over my shoulder and climb a hill (although at a slower pace than years previous). I can climb over the tailgate of the truck to get whatever may have rolled to the front of the bed. And still stand to walk and sit to shit. That's mobile enough for me!! Blood pressure was damned near "perfect".... Weight is starting to come off again since we're back in the swing of things around here...Found out that I don't have CHF because that has to do with failure of the arteries and my problem is the valves in my veins quit on me if I sit on my ass too much. If it was CHF, being more active would make things worse - not better- and there was no indication of it on any of my previous stress tests....The fluid buildup I was experiencing in my chest is because of allergy overload to cattle, dogs, grain, hay, poultry, even rocks...basically allergic to everything on earth. It's gone now that I'm out busting my hump again so it don't have a chance to settle in my lungs....Chest x-ray was fine....I got a meter now and can keep tabs on my own glucose....Cholesterol genetically runs low in our family despite how much supposed "bad" fat any of our family eats. None of us run more than 120 TOTAL cholesterol. We all stopped even getting it checked....So that leaves checking to see if I'm anemic. I was very slightly last year. But that was because I was eating on the road a lot in the months/weeks/days prior to blood draw. I'm good to go!! If anyone finds me flat on my back, I'm just exhausted. Let me sleep.

BLT wraps in soft flour tortillas. Try using sour cream instead of mayonnaise and add a sprinkle of chopped basil to the tomato.
