Thanksgiving sucked!!! My MIL wound up in the hospital with chest pains Wednesday, was to have a stress test Thursday, but her blood emzines were to high, then they wound up putting a shunt in her to un- block an artery that was 99% blocked, the good news is that went well. The rest was that my oldest daughter and my JACKA-- of a son in law took of for Casper Wyoming with out telling anyone good bye . It's Life GRAND.

Sorry to hear about your MIL. How is she doing? Got some way to take care of the animals? Going to sue the landlord? With the kids; that's normal. Talked to mine last week. You think either mentioned a visit for Thanksgiving? I'd call them names; but then I'm responsible for raising them!

Happy Thanksgiving from the Britton's to you and yours.
Just need to stick the turkey in the oven tomorrow and finish the mashed taters and dinner will be served. Got 3 pumpkin pies made, rolls are rising, cranberry sauce is setting up in the fridge, potatoes are peeled to cook and mash, bread is dried and onions & celery are chopped for stuffing, beans and corn are lined up and ready to heat up, noodles are dry, chicken stock to cook them in is thawing out, the applesauce cake is made, and the cheese/relish trays are ready to rock n roll.

I hate to be negative, but I'm not looking forward to tomorrow's dinner at all. My sister Chicken is bringing along some freaking idiot that's been sniffing around her. She's eighteen, he's a 25yo pt bartender with no career goals, education, or anything at all in common with her or the rest of the family! He's an idiot that spends his days living in his father's house playing video games or building forts in the back yards. That's right...building forts in the back yard! He's like a retarded sixth grader! I have nothing to say to the fool and the family practically crucified me when I asked that he not be brought to dinner, but rather spend it with his own family and drop in later in the evening. They all call me rude; I say they ain't seen nothing yet!

I'll trade ya. Daughter will be 19 in a week and is shacked up with a 53 yr old unemployed tattoo artist, her "works when he feels like it" boyfriend and his kids (who call her mommy) and a few others who are along the same lines. Guess she's having turkey with my folks but is not happy that they won't let her friends on the property.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone....I am about ready to get on the road and this thing is acting crazy and seems to be ready to crash. So, if it does I can not get it repaired. This Security Tool program keeps coming up and I have a time just getting on-line I have deleted it and it keeps coming back on and I delete it again and the same thing. I think it needs to be crashed, but I do not know how to do that. I am taking my laptop with me and it is acting crazy as well...maybe my daughter can get it going?? If, not I will not be back for a long time.

As usual, we had a big crowd around Mom and Dad's place and the food was awesome. No punches were thrown and Chicken's friend statyed away until well after dinner, then he stopped by for an hour or so and I was happy to see that he was largely ignored by Chicken. The guy is such a loser and beneath her... Whatever;God will guide her... Turkey, ham, beef roast, sweet taters, mashed taters, gravy, stuffing, corn casserole, green been casserole, cranberrie sauce, cadied yams, baked beans, dinner rolls, maccaroni and cheese, and eleven different types of pie, cobbler, or pudding! Yum, yum! I'm so glad the day went better than expected! Lots of folks still mad at me because I asked Chicken not to have that kid over to dinner, but he should have spent it with his own family. Instead he volunteered to tend bar, because he doesn't like his family enough to spend holidays with them. My question was, if he doesn't lke his own family; why's he sniffing around mine???
