I would like to ask that everyone start calculating the nutrient content of their recipes before posting them here. If you do not know how we can learn together. Let's all take a look around and see what tools exist to help perform this task on the net and post the results here. ;D

You know, I got a hand out from Cardiac rehab the other day that had a table in it for figureing out the sodium value of the recipes we all use. I'll try and find it again. I do remember that for most the limit on sodium or salt is 3000 mg a day. That is from drinks, meals, and snacks. Don't forget your serving sizes either...

Serving size is where my diet breaks down. My plates are too big and portions are way out of whack. That's why it is easy to cook for an Army! I just fix myself a snack and pass it around!
