*2-1/2 Cup Flour; 2 Teaspoon Vanilla; 3 Teaspoon Soda; 2 Eggs; 2 Teaspoon Cinamon 1 Teaspoon Liquid Sugar substitute; 1/2 Teaspoon Nutmeg; 4 Cup Grated apple; 1 Teaspoon Salt; 1 Cup Walnuts; 1 Cup Butter;
Mix dry ingredients; add butter, eggs, sugar substitute, and blend well. Stir in grated apples and nuts. Bake in well-greased 9 x 13 pan at 375 degrees, 40-50 minutes.
Serves 8
Calories: 320 From Fat: 180 Protein: 6 grams Carbohydrates: 20 grams
Food Exchange per serving: 1/2 FAT EXCHANGE + 1 STARCH/BREAD EXCHANGE + 1/2 FRUIT EXCHANGE
* Mr. Korot points out that the carbohydrates in this recipe can be significantly reduced by substituting almond flour.
If almond flour is used adjust nutrients as shown:
Calories: 365 From Fat: 110 12 grams Saturated: 1 gram Carbohydrates: 4 grams Sugars 1 gram Protein 11 gram Fiber 3 grams
