Looky here fellas, when we talk about them Heirloom Turkey Calls from now on we get to refer to them as "Award Winning" Heirloom Turkey Calls, lol. ;D
I attended the Florida State Turkey Calling Competition this past weekend in Orlando, Fl. hosted by the NWTF and Bass Pro Shops. I didn't compete for a variety of reasons, but I signed up my little sister, Chicken (Terri) in the junior division and she carried a Rebel Yell box call that I'd built for her and a single barrel glass call that Brian had sent her and she came in second place out of thirteen competitors!
I was so tickled for that youngin! She had never been to a calling competition before and although she's been turkey hunting with me for a few years now, she wasn't sure about her calls, so I spent a few days with her brushing up on her calling and after overcoming her nerves, she did great!
She turned a few heads and answered lots of questions about, "where'd you get them calls?" and passed out lots of cards. I was there covering the event for the NWTF and I spent the best part of the day networking and passing out cards myself.
I'll see if I can post a few pictures tomorrow of her with her trophy and check for a hundred bucks! Funny kid, I gave her a hundred dollar bill and she signed over her check to me, then took off shopping in the Bass Pro superstore.
Now, what do you reckon a sixteen year old girl would want to blow money on? A set of Mossy Oak camo pants, long sleeve button shirt, and rubber mud boots and two bags of pork rinds! Funny kid! ;D

Both on the competition and the networking oportunity it gave. Can't wait to hear more.

Thanks guys!
We just finished filing our provisional patents on a few of the unique features we're incorporating into our calls. This time of year is rediculously slow for trying to sell turkey calls, but we plan to hit it hard come the first of the year!

Old people ! Gotta explain everything to them! Ok, here goes Koot, try and follow along; They make TURKEY CALLS not TREE CALLS! So they can't be used on a real tree! The best tree call is a chainsaw. Everytime I hear one a truck goes down the road with one in the back so it must work real good. ;D ;D
