YEEHAW!!! We finaly are done with Indiana and there headaches and even got Tn.'s legal stuff done. Surprisingly, after all the property was sold and all the legal bills and such we came out ahead $200,000.. We thought we'd end up with nothing! ET, Julie's going to be recieving the entire insurance payment each month now! The $200,000. is going to a college fund for our children. Should have moved back here years ago! On other matters; My company gave us each a shirt for 100% passing of an audit. They are having a cookout as well and my boss said I had to "wire" my shirt. I asked what kind of "wire" and why. He looked at me silly then another employee told me, " yankee translation, WEAR your shirt". ;D ;D

Man I'll bet you feel five inches taller! ;D Now, if you should ever ever entertain the thought of divorce in Tennessee watch out for the term "alimony in solido!" It took six attorneys four courts and a federal judge to figure out that it isn't alimony or maybe it is well maybe it isn't.

LOL, alimony would be the easy part. She'd eat me alive due to her being handicapped and unable to work. After the 14 years of HELL that Indiana put us through and we are still together I don't believe it'll happen. Atleast not on my end. ;D The attorneys, bank and Court here are just shaking their heads over the fact it took Indiana 1 1/2 years to transfer her account at a cost of around $100,000. in "legal" fees alone. Anyway, irregardless of the money, YEA, YEA, YEA, we are done with the legal B.S. and can finaly start having a life! FYI, this isn't to brag but to celebrate a new begining!

I am very happy for you Mars and your family that this travesty finaly could be setteld to your benefit. We go trough something similar here and I can now fully understand why some people snap a twig or two walk into a government office and start shooting everybody.

And to think Mars, They ain't even got serious yet.... It's good to see they gave you some happy pills to help out too. Only suggestion I can give you is to take them only when you really need them. Those suckers can reach up and grab you out of nowhere. I know I'm preaching to the choir on that one.

In defiance of doctors orders I didn't take the Lortab. I really dislike the idea of not being in control mentaly at all times and Lortabs are known for causing mood changes. I don't think our local PD would like me in a drugged up bad mood. Took 6 of them up in Indiana to put cuffs on me a few years ago and that was after being pepper sprayed. LOL, they said I resisted slightly so I got beat up. Don't think they'd like me drugged up and resisting greatly. ;D Anyway, all cured, somewhat, so back to work for 1 day tomorrow. Note, don't let the stomach flu go untreated to the point it becomes an actual bacterial infection and we are still trying to figure out how I got salmonella into the mix.

My company had a company picnic at Warriors Path State Park yesterday. My children played games, oldest daughter camped out at the mechanical bull site most of the time. ;D My wife stayed in the a/c'd rec hall, eating, drinking and talking. You know, normal female stuff! ;D I did the usual male thing and went fishing. Caught a carp of about 8lbs and several nice size bluegills. We then went horseback riding in the mountains. I'm still trying to figure out how the horse my oldest was riding in front of me could do all the eating along the trail and have it all come out the horse I was riding!

Today I had a run in with a true blonde female! ETSU is having a "fund raiser" and college students have been bugging me all day as I was trying to get some sleep. I work 3rd shift. Anyway, our apartment complex has a no trespassing, no solicating sign at the entrance that for the most part gets ignored. We live in the first apartment you come to in the complex so they start with us and I normaly(always) send them to the manager who promptly removes them from the area. These two blonde females come to our door, about the third group of the day. I inform them that there is no soliciting allowed on the property. One of them says" but Sir, we're not smoking". I inform them what "soliciting" means and send them on their way but before she goes the same one in a Foxworthy moment asks if I killed the animals I have on the wall? No, they just ran into the wall and got stuck there. Heres your sign.

Today must have been the day for college kids to be stupid! Mike's nephew stopped by and said that the saddle club is having a charity rodeo to help an area mom that has brain cancer. He signed me up for the barrel racing.
Is he nucking futs!! He knows that after a few bad horse experiences as a kid, I have a deathly fear of equine!!!! That's when he informs me that I won't be riding. I'll be one of the barrels! Great! Just what I wanted to hear. Professional barrel racers who like to cut them barrels hard, whipping around me at lightning speed!! Might as well just put me in front of a firing squad! Just remember the blindfold and cigarette! Who ever thought this event up has sh*t for brains!!

LOL, take a baseball bat with you. They won't cut as close after you bean the first one! Being chased with a bat would definetly throw the times off! ;D See y'all! Vacation time so I'm pretty much outa here for awhile. May check in on ya from time to time though. Just to keep you all honest. OK, so let the insults fly. You will have 9 days to hide before I get back. ;D

In one of those spur of the moment acts of stupidity I packed the family up for a night in the mountains. My truck looked like the Beverly Hillbillies had returned with all the gear for a handicapped woman and two daughters to "survive" one night in the woods. It rained the entire time! Though that did give me the chance to impress my oldest daughter by building a fire in a downpour and with wet wood.Luckly the latest version of the NAHC mag arrived just as we where leaving so in what amounted to the best use for it, it got used as kindling starter. So, with the cloud cover and the fire died out it was DARK!! I mean pitch black, can't see a thing DARK! Thats when the critters woke up and started the night time chorus or more acurately a "rock concert". I was glad when everything finaly shut up about 2 am.

Did you ever notice that the best times you have sometimes are when EVERYTHING goes wrong? ? I can remember going camping with the family for years but the trips I remember best are the ones like you discribe here Mas. I wouldn't trade those times for anything in the world...
