I was wondering who just run out the door. Seems my swamper buddy made it here already too. Miss Kathy has a great smoked ham straight from the smoke houses of Northern Ark in the kitchen par-boiling for dinner today. Matt and his wife, and Mandy, what's his name and Addison are all due over later today for some fun. The day still isn't quite complete though. Chris is still over seas doing his job, keeping Christmas alive for all of us. He is due back in the first week or so of Jan. THEN it'll be Christmas at this house for sure. We sincerely hope that everyone has a great day. Please remember who's birthday it is and to give thanks for his sacrifices that he made for us. Merry Christmas and God Bless from the Warner Family to all of you.

Careful there! It's usually when they are quiet that they are up to something.

Aaaaahhhhh, the day after. Well, it was another Christmas together and for that I am thankful. Plenty of fussin' and gripin', but that's any holiday when we're all together, Lol. All in all, good times!

Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas! Koot, tell Cate I got Christian's card and it is a dandy Toby I got your card too. Faith Yours as well. Thank you all so much for your kind thoughts. As usual I have several boxes of cards and envelopes sitting here on the desk and not one sent out. I promise I'll try to do better next year.

<in my best Jerry Clowers voice> Whoow!! I had a late Christmas present last night! For Christmas, I figured it would be nice to get Mike a new western shirt, jeans, and a western hat for when he needs to travel with his job. Gotta look the part when you're showing high-dollar beef cattle y'know. And besides all of his other clothes are way too big for him anymore. I hadn't seen him dolled up since the evening a tall, lanky kid I barely recognized and didn't know his name, decked out in a similar getup, walked into the barn when I was milking cows back in the winter of '88 and wanted to know if I'd go to the movies with him. I told him he'd have to wait until my chores were done, I took a shower, and then get an OK from dad and my brothers. He came back a couple of hours later and we went out for dinner, a movie, and some star gazing from the neighbors hay field. That was the beginning of a beautiful friendship and led to our marriage. Anyways, Mike shaved and put on his new duds last night so we could go down to the funeral home. Man alive!!! He's still got that magic swagger in his walk! If my legs could stand it anymore, I'd have taken him out square dancing all night long!! Guess his Christmas present was, in a way, a present to myself - if that makes any sense. I gotta buy that man new clothes more often! Nearly gave me a case of the vapors!!! And for all you who are way too eager to find out what all my swooning led to....We got home from Parkerburg, slipped on our jammies, and sat in front of the fireplace eating popcorn and enjoying the quietness of the moment until after midnight.

"shaved and put on his new duds last night so we could go down to the funeral home. " Sounds like a line from "The Adams Family".

;D LMAO!!! But it's getting pretty bad when you go to fill out a job application and all your personal (non-family) references are dead. ;D
