Looks like your still in better shape then those folks in upstate New York.....146 inches and still snowing....Theyre expecting a couple more feet through the weekend....Its snowing like crazy here in Connecticut, but concidering we've only had about 3.7 inches this winter, this is nothing even though we're expected to get about 14 inches in the northwest corner of the state....

I'm glad to see it going! It is about fifty right now and all but ten percent has melted away. I have a call in for another tank of propane, $800.00 or more in less than four months since the last one. Keeeerist two hundred a month for heat is a bit much!

I'm glad to see it go too! The kids were driving me nucking futs with all those snow days. Bad thing is all that melted snow and today's predicted rain is going to end up in the Hocking River and in this school district, that means even MORE days off because the roads will be under water.

You poor jokers! I feel your pain! The last time it snowed down here (1976) I was just miserable for that whole two and a half hours until it finally melted away.

We broke fifty today I think. The one semi smart thing I ever did was insist on solar gain sky lights in this "trailer"! Of course we pay for that in the summer. Anyway we ran out of gas yesterday. I had ordered a load a week ago Tuesday morning since they supposedly "deliver" this area Tuesdays. The kitchen started stinking, worse than normal and not from cat whizz, so I investigated and sure enough the propane tank was sitting on zero. I called Ridenauer and had my second conversation with their answering machine in as many weeks in not so too awful friendly tones. We still have enough gas to maintain a pilot light in the range so officially we still have gas. I set the thermostat to 55 and so far the furnace has not come on. With a ceramic heater in the bedroom and an occasional assist from the toaster oven in the kitchen we have kept it at around sixty five in the house. I can hardly wait until the sun comes up though and praying there are no clouds. Ridenauer's opens at 09:00 and guess who is going to be their first caller! Thank You Lord for the warm temperatures, the fuzzy warm bed buddies, and the ceramic heater, toaster oven, and butane cook stove. Waking up this morning was kind of nice with the bit of a chill, the two headed dog (turned out to be two dogs) snuggeling under the blankets and the crazy cats Mr. Niles, and Cuba hugging my neck!. The first thoughts that came to mind were; "Well Grandma, I need to build the fire!" Awwwwww the memories...
