I have two favorites; one is "whatever it is that I want to eat", and the other is "something easy to share, cheap and makes a big pile!" Of the first it is usually deviled eggs, baked beans, Philipino lumpia (meat egg roll), K-bobs, cole slaw, potato salad, or beef/chicken and noodles. Of the latter it is usually some kind of snack thing like my "Super Bowl" consisting of Chex Mix plus stick pretzels, dry roasted peanuts, and Fritos.

I like to bring a long a bag of Tostito Tortilla chips and a chili dip. I make the tortillas by stopping off at the grocery store and buying a bag. Simple and easy! While I'm at the store I get a block of Phillidelphia Cream Cheese, and a can of Hormel Chili. I mix the chili in a big mixing bowl with the cream cheese and then I put it in a clear serving bowl and cover it with aluminum foil. Yeah, I'm a lazy bastard, but it tastes good!

Toby, I can't believe that for one moment, after all we have all heard that necessity is the mother of invention..well I disagree firmly...laziness is and always has been..so be lazy and invent us some new dishes Most here know the Garbage Can Turkey is a highly requested item were ever I go..but I also like to whip up a batch of chili, stew or even ham and beans for the folks..I also make killer dips for chips and spreads for crackers...not to mention my homemade cranberry sauce....this stuff is good enough to spread on crackers with a sliver of ham or roast turkey...
