Last night, Anthony, age 6, stated his last t-ball baseball season. I wanted to move him up a level, but they woudn't let me due to him being a little too young, and the number of kids already playing that higher level. So, last night he hit 2 triples, and a double. It would have been 2 homeruns and a triple, but the boy on base in front of him is slower, so it slowed him down. They didn't want me to move him up so now he will dominate t-ball. That'll teach them!

This is interesting, because, many years ago, when both of my boys were in T-Ball, we had the same problem. They outgrew that level, but were not allowed to move up, so they dominated the lower level.
I guess nothing changes. They seem to hold tenaciously to age limits, etc.

It looks like the Hill's will invade Florida 7-3-09 to 7-11-09. We made all the reservations today. We will fly out of Little Rock on July 3rd @7:30 in the morning. We change planes in Atlanta then on to Orlando. We should arrive about 12:30 PM. We are going to visit Mickey and company for 8 days then fly home. It will be the first time Cyndi and the boys have flown.

8 days at the Mickey's place? Awe heck, I'd love to go back myself with the kids some day, but I just can't make myself do it. My favorite attraction was the Hall Of Presidents (I was a wierd kid). When Washington and T. Roosevelt and JFK would speak, you just couldn't help but to swell with pride in America, but when Lincoln delivered his message to us...well, you just couldn't keep the tears away. I want to keep the memories of that experience. If I go into it now and that nigga stands up and talks about changing the America I love so much..... I just don't think I could bear it...

This morning, Ethel Missionary Baptist Church called me to be their pastor. I told them that I could not give them an answer yet, because a church at Shelbyville, Tx. had called earlier in the week asking me to come preach "in view of a call". So, next week, off to Texas we go, then the 2 weekends after that we will be on vacation. If I accept the position of pastor at Ethel (4 miles east of Antlers) I will not start until July 19th. I need your prayers so that I will make the right decision that the Lord would desire for me to make.

Dear Lord, lead Pastor Freddie to the church whose congregation offers access to the best deer hunting! Amen! ;D Tiny, errr......Toby, Do you actually think that the local deer hunting is the reason I would accept or decline the position of pastor? If so, we need to have a talk!

I never suggested such a thing; I know you wouldn't make your decision on that. I just figured if the Lord was gonna lead you, as He will, I figured I'd speak up on your behalf and ask that he lead you to some fine hunting, that's all. I figured somebody oughta be looking out for ya. What's a buddy for?

After much prayer, this morning I accepted the postion of Pastor at Ethel Missionary Baptist Church in Antlers, Ok. At this time we are NOT planning on moving to Antlers, although they do have a parsonage. I am going to try to drive back and forth on weekends, and still hold down my job herre in Arkansas. I will really need your prayers so that we will have safe trips, and that the church will grow as the Lord sees fit.
