My two sisters and their families and my girlfriend and her daughter are coming over this afternoon for food and fellowship. It should be a good time. But first my boys and I are going to Mass this morning. Y'all have a Happy Easter!

My duty day was Saturday (yesterday) so I hooked up the boat and brought it to work with me. I washed it, cleaned the carpet or as much of it as I could then I waxed and buffed it. Plus I washed my van. All together it took about four hours. It does look a little better I think.

My oldest son is an Eagle Scout! He will have his ceremony in a month or two. He is waiting for his friend that started in Scouting with him to finish his Eagle project so they can get their award together.

What's the project or is it secret? Wax?! I'd spread crayfish oil all over the hull. Couldn't hurt.

Their projects are never secret. His friend is doing a demolition job at a dojo for the owner. I don't really see how that fits into the scheme of an Eagle project but it was approved. I thought the projects were supposed to be of the kind that more than a specific group would benefit from.
Might have something there Mars about putting crawfish oil on the hull.

Man I think that's terrific. And be sure to tell him that compliment comes from the world's one and only ever Tenderfoot Senior Patrol Leader; "ME!" (It's a long story.)

Today is the last day of races at Keeneland for the Spring Meet. My girlfriend and I are going. But first she has a gig at a Senior Citizens Center where she teaches dance classes. If I am able I will go with her to that. Should be fun. Anyway, I hope we leave the track with more money than we entered with.

Uhhuh! Now we know how you got the compliments on your dance classes. Has she got a good job? Is she Christian, practicing or just name carrying? Does she save her money? Can she cook? Is she a good girl or does she go all the way with strangers? She ever married? Why did her last boyfriend leave her? Does she clean house? Can she iron and fold clothes? Is her bedroom a mess? Looked in her closets yet? What's in her medicine cabinet? She ever been arrested? She like dogs? She like hunting and fishing? She got guns and gear? Can she skin squirrels? Does she wash and wax your truck? The boys like her? What does she smell like? How many pairs of shoes doews she have. Does she have a lot of different sized dresses, blouses, and pants? What does her mom look like? What do her parents think of you? The only reason I'm asking is cause if you f*** up things again I'm personally putting your d*** in a meat grinder! Love ya!

Phil, first, thanks for caring. Now to answer some of your questions. She is a beautiful woman. I have seen pictures of her from a younger age to current and she has never been big. Her mom is tiny too. She always smells good. She has different pairs of shoes, some for work ( she has her own business ) and some for dancing and other stuff. She goes to church. We have even been together. [That kind of thing we are approching slowly though] She likes animals. She likes to fish but not hunt. She does not mind my hunting. She is supportive of me and I of her. I "LIKE" her and she "LIKES" me, very important. She does a good job of keeping house. She also hauls water; they have a cistern. I help her with that whenever I can. We do not have immediate future plans of living together. No, she has never been arrested and she is not crazy and does not take "crazy pills". She is terrific. But no matter how I feel about her I am going to take my time because we both want to get to know each other well. If it turns out that down the road she is the "right" one then the time invested now will be worth it. If not, then the pleasure will be worth all the pain. No matter what I want to do this right. We also don't do a whole lot yet which involves our kids being around. We want to take that part a little step at a time which we both have plenty of.

Yesterday was the first time I ever walked out of a racetrack ahead let alone break even. If breaking even is batting 100% then I batted 150%. I only lost on one race out of the six I could bet. We got there late. It was a great day at the races! And if we are in a recession it sure did not show there. I'll bet over 10,000 people were there counting how many were in the track and those that stayed on on the grounds tailgating. I treated my girlfriend to dinner at PF Changs. It was pretty good.

One of the founding members of our local NWTF Chapter is relocating to New Mexico. HE was employed by our Fish and Wildlife but now he will be the District Chief or whatever the title was he told me for New Mexico's Game and Fish Wildlife Division. We are having a farewell dinner for him tonight.
