You bet Snake! Being with a youngster for their first deer, makes me happier'n Rosie O'donnel at a titty-bar. ;D Great hunt, congrats to all three of you!

;D Paws, You are absolutely right about us being City folks, but if there are any slickers around it is the very friendly folks of Logan. Case in point: $90 a night at the Shawnee Inn.... ? That is a cheap,no(and I mean no frills) frills place to stay. Four of our group(not me,I learned my lesson) went to the BBQ joint up from us. Bill $125+ tip. Only one that enjoyed their dinner was the one that ordered the brisket. Gas was $.20+ higher than Columbus. Us city folks are willing to pay the "slickers" price for staying in a really great town.IMO snake-eyes

Sounds like they deserve it! Those prices look rediculous Snake! Pork, chicken, and ribs were no good huh? That's too bad man, sorry to hear it. Where were you hunting perxactly? Oh crap. I just looked out the window! What is it they say about Red sky in the morning..."! Later!

Phil, I am really not that hard to please when it comes to food, unless I have to pay for not so good food. Last year I got BBQ ribs that was hard to tell the meat from the bone. To be quite honest I was surprised the place was still in business. The area we hunt is about 10/12 miles out of Logan off SR#93. I know we turn left and drive another 4/5 miles and as far as I know we are hunting Wayne National Forrest in Perry County. My son knows where he is at,and I am with him. I do know that every deer we check in, we designate Perry County. snake-eyes

Glad to see you all had fun and getting the young ones out there. Pop was with my evil twin when he killed his first deer; I had just got back from Iraq. He was also with Pop when he killed his first buck on Thanksgiving Day this year. Keep up the good work.
