My neighbor and I've decided to get into reloading because of the extreme costs of bullets any more I was at Sportsmans Wearhouse the other day and they told me one of the best kits to get started is put out by Lyman called the T-Mag Kit After doing a little research on the net, I found they also have by far the best price around for this set up.... If any one cares, I'd like to know what you guys think of this...

I'll be back in the house about dark, Russ, I'll give you a call, and we can discuss it. There are several ways to go, the Lyman isn't a bad way to go, neither is the RCBS. Some of these guys may have some opinions, also. Still digging out, been snowed in a week, should get out tonight or in the morning, got Floyd digging the drift out with his tractor. Toksa Lafe

Russ my Uncle Jim, who just passed away, left a shitload of reloading equipment. Aunt Eloise is still in the process of inventory/identification. Either me or his son Jim will be doing the pricing. So far I've sold everything for her except the farm equipment and musical instrument collection. She is not computer literate so not much we can do there but if you wish I can talk to her on your behalf or offer you a phone number for cheap! Lafe how deep are you buried? I heard the news reports around Jackson Hole but not a word about your area.

Sounds good Phil... I don't know much of any thing about reloading so wouldn't know if it was a deal or not... I don't mind taking chances on occassion if I can afford it... Sounds great Lafe, will be looking forward to your call...

Sounds great Lafe, will be looking forward to your call... Well she said she'll put a priority on digging it all out and getting it inventoried. She also said she bought most of it for him and insisted on the best quality available. All of it was bought in Carrier Mississippi several years ago. You won't be cheated. I'll see to that. As soon as I get an inventory I'll get back with you here; couple of days I'd guess.

I think all the instruments went to Branson Mo to auction but I'll check and see if there is anything left. EC it sounds to me like she has quite a bit of the "basic" stuff left. All the automatic gear was sold off in MI before they left I guess so she has a couple of pretty simple setups that load one piece at a time and a bunch of dies of various calibers. Some lead, brass, a melting pot, nice tumbler set up. Most are "Lee" brand name if that helps any. She plans to bring it out to me so I can do pics and such if needed. We'll sell off the powder locally.

OK, got dug out yesterday, went to work, had to runa truck up north, so just getting home. How much snow I'm not sure, some of the drifts around here were six feet deep. They got the road to town open Sunday, so all we had to do was dig/plow to the "main" road. Got a little interesting, but we made it.

Man I haven't seen snow like that since they shut down all the airports in DC and the area when I lived in the hotel for six days waiting for a flight out! DAng near emptied out the grocery store across the highway from where I was staying.

We've hit around 10"- a foot here in town... I know when I was hunting a couple weeks ago over in Lafes area, the snow in some areas was hitting me past my knees... I got into a lot of them in one area, but figured it would take two days to get one out, so decided to leave them along... I'm glad your out Lafe safe and sound...

Well, I was getting low on coffee, so I thought I may need a trip to town. I usually keep a pretty good larder in the winter, just in case, just got caught a little flat footed this storm. The snow is going away pretty fast, so I will stock up on a few items, make sure there is no need to go to town. Ya know, about all there is to do when snowed in, alone, is cook, maybe work on a few indoor projects, like reloading, etc, it's not all bad. Thanks for the prayers guys Toksa

Russ, Eloise got a buyer for the reloading gadgetry. She was selling the Bobcat and the old fart asked her what else she had and he bought near evreything that I had not spoken for. I fought her over Uncle Jim's dream catcher on his rear view mirror ond lost. I have a few gun repair manuals and a stack of miscellaneous mags and clips that need to be identified and that should be the last of her goodies until she opens a couple more of those plastic bins.
