There are a number of ideals on the benefits and pit falls of each...
On another board I haunt, this topic came up...
Some one asked about bladders and what did we use...
Any one here have any preference and reason for such between the two?

There are a number of ideals on the benefits and pit falls of each... On another board I haunt, this topic came up... Some one asked about bladders and what did we use... Any one here have any preference and reason for such between the two? Bottle. Sorry I'm not very thoughtful about my choice. I'm sure there are a number of outdoorsmen who can quickly point out that I'm a dumbass for overlooking the value of a bladder, but I doubt they'll sway me from my choice. Convenience is the key. I toss a couple of bottles of water in my pack and if needs be, they're easy enough to refill and after the hunt or campout, they fit quite comfortably in a trash can and I've nothing to carry home to keep in storeage until my next hunt.
