[glow=red,2,300]Happy Belated Birthday[/glow] Pal! I knew this morning when I got up that somebody had a birthday today, and I needed to at least tell 'em howdy. Couldn't figure out who it was until I saw the banner on the home page. Better late than never. Hope you had a great day and many more like it!
Got a nephew with a birthday on the 15th and another on the 17th. there's more birthdays in May in this family than in any other month. My oldest brother will be 72 on the 29th. He lacked 2-1/2 months being 20 years older than me, but we have always been best of pals. Ain't no generation gap here! Never was!

Nice to hear from you, Bill!! Your Bro is an old phart like me!! The year 1937 was my year, and in 1957(March) I was stationed in Paris, France (APO 230) courtesy of the USAF for 33 months! Still want to get out to the four corners area for a visit. Still working on it. Our friend has a Sister that is in a terminal state now and is heading to Cortez,Colorado. If it wouldn't have been for this set back, we had all planned on heading that way the end of this summer! Will have to wait and see what transpires. Take care.....Bill

Bro. Freddie, how did ya'll come thru these storms.?? Bette and I were at Mount Ida for two nights sight seeing and digging for quartz crystals --had a great time in spite of all the rain and MUD! We then stayed at Mount Magazine Lodge for three nights and had an enjoyable time with only a little rain but ran into it big time on the way back to Mountain Home by Clinton all the way to Harrison! Missed that same storm that hit Mountain Home just before we arrived. Hope the rain ends soon and warms up abit! The lakes and rivers are FULL!!

Got a lot of rain down here. In fact, Lake Greeson is so full that it went over the dam yesterday. The dam was finished back in 1950 and water has now gone over it exactly twice. The first time was May 14th, 1968 and the second was May 14th, 2009, exactly 41 years to the day. This happened about 6 miles north of my house. My parents said I saw it the first time, but I don't remember it because I was only 5 at the time. I took the boys up to see it yesterday and it was really something to see.

I don't know! What do you suppose their logic is? Maybe "keep 'em off the streets!" Possibly "Keep 'em busy not lookin' for a job so there are more jobs to go around!"
