We have a guy here who runs for Governor every election, Gatewood Galbraith, that has been pushing to legalize pot for years. Not something I want to see happen.

Well,I have this little thing about property rights that I don't think should be messed with.If I grow, cultivate or produce a product on my property and it never leaves my property, then I say ;D. There was a time when the country just about lived on the profits of alcohol, tobacco and cotton. Now today, they are trying to tax two of the three out of business. snake-eyes

I've always had the mindset that what a person does on or with their property is no concern to me unless it travels beyond their property. If they could obey that simple enough rule I'd be all for legalising pot and shine however such has been proven impossible. It's interesting though that from my experience that moonshine drinkers rarely drink outside the home but pot smokers cannot seem to keep it at home. I have yet to see someone get fired at work for drinking shine, legal alcohol I have, but there have been many fired for smoking pot at work.

You mean to say they're not legal??? Oh, wait......we're talking legal to produce and sell. I'm thinking local legal tender.

I wouldn't vote to legalize pot, but I haven't any problem with folks that grow a few plants for personal use.
Shine's already legal for personal useage, so I guess I'd vote that way.
