You got it Spec! Just as soon as I find some time to get back out. I only been a couple of times and saw nuttin'! I did find a couple of semi-butchered carcasses the poachers left a couple hundred yards behind my favorite blind. Both rifle shots to the neck and only the backstraps and rear hams were gone. Boucous coyote activity, but no deer there. I'll be out soon....

Got these pics from my brother Al this morning. He lives in Monroe Co., OH. Deer was taken yesterday by a friend of the family, Eli Miller. I asked Al where Eli downed this beautiful 10-pt. "In our back hayfield! There are probably 2 or 3 more just like him, or BIGGER! Tell Mike to come on up and get some of them! Renae, Emily and I took the 4x4 through the hayfield a couple of weeks ago and counted over 50 deer between the back field and the front hayfield knob." Went for a walk through our woods this morning and came upon a spike. I let him walk. Spikes are about 10-inches tall. Almost thought somebody left me a heifer out there to find. Gonna try to keep him close to here and let him develope and body out another couple years.

Them backstraps we call catfish and fight over them. How do y'all do yours? We cut them thick then butterfly them and fix them like stuffed pork chops.

Good looking deer. I bet your daughter is very proud of her's!!
There is a buck around here that has a huge rack. I saw him a few days ago. All I could see was the white tail and the rack going up and down as he was on the move.

;D ;D ;D What a little predator! Fine buck too; I bet she's a proud little huntress! I noticed too, she's growing up. I bet she's twice a whole head taler than she was in last year's hunt pictures. Pretty soon, she'll be dragging oput your deer, lol.

Toby, she tried the "dragging out deer" this year and realised it was harder then I make it look. I don't know about the taller part( she's 4' 11" or so) but she has alot of muscle for a girl and her age(122 pounds). Her "little" sister has her beat. 12 years old, 5' 10" and 185 pounds. I always said she is going to be the first NFL female linebacker.

She is going to be petite...that is OK!! But, she is mighty!! ;D ;D I used to be 5' and now barely 4'10" shrinking!! ;D Bad to try to reach the second shelf of the kitchen cabinets! I have stool in most every room of the house or a chair that I can climb on for high places.
