Having a strange experience. I'm logged in but up at the top of the page it askes me to log in. There are no "reply" or quote tabs to post. Really strange because I was going to reply to Eaglenest about there not being church for 2 weeks in a row due to heating problems. Maybe it's just a glich on the site. But? I think the devil's at work here. Not just in your church. In the past week, I've heard of two nursing/rehab centers that are no longer having Sunday services because of "lack of participation". You meen to tell me that out of 100 residents, there aren't one or two that, if nothing else, would enjoy some companionship on Sunday morning??? My FIL's lady friend has decided that even if it's just a hymn sing and one person is there, there WILL be a Sunday program. So this morning, the farm animals had to wait while she went across county to visit with the old folks.

OK. This is just too strange. How come Toby and Pastor Freddie can log in and post? I had to start a new thread as a guest to get here. None of the other threads have a way to post. It shows me as logged in at the bottom of the main page. But up at the top, it still says "welcome guest". There's not even a "log off" button. Aggrivating to say the least.

Now I notice that some threads do have the "reply" and "quote" buttons while others do not. In particular, Pastor's study of Matthew, Snake's casino thread, and my place do not have the buttons. The threads with the buttons take me to a posting box where I'm still recognized as a guest. Guess I'll wait til tomorrow.

Nope. Still can't reply this morning. In fact, this is the only thread that show a "reply" button. But as you see, I'm still recognized as a guest.

Check your internet security settings. If it is too high it won't load the cookie that is needed.

Checked that, ran a virus scan, restarted computer....still bunko. Looks like eaglenest is having problems too. Maybe it's just the site. Where's our trusty leader when we need him.

Hey it worked!! I got disgusted and went over to ProBoards support forum for help. First step was your suggestion, Mars. Second step was that when I log in to change the duration to "forever". It worked.
