They're a German mfg company and I've been told that the quality of their firearms is good and I've been told that the quality of their firearms is sh*tty.
Any of you guys got any first hand knowledge on them?
They make carbon-copies of the Ruger SA revolvers and are half the price on Gunbroker.com so I was thinking about getting another .45lc just for the helluvit. I traded mine to Dad last year for a Rossi .357, but I sold that gun to my buddy's Dad when I needed Christmas money...
A SA .45 LC for $300.00 new in the box. Any opinions?

Toby,
Just remember you get what you pay for...that being said these guns come from all over Europe and Russia...maybe even South America...parts for some Russian guns are made in Pakistan and SE Asia...I can only imagine that maybe some Euro Guns are also...But this is just something to think about I have to my knowledge never had one of these in my hands...and until I do I can't say yea or nay..but would lean towards the nay and buy a Ruger...

I've never heard of them or seen one of their firearms as far as I know.
As I'm typing this I'm checking them out on their website.
They do say their Bounty Hunter revolver is a reproduction firearm with modern advantages added in.
I do like the look and the 3 position hammer is definetly something I favor in a revolver. Ruger did away with 3 position.
$300. ? If I had the extra funds I would buy it but that is just my opinion.

None of ya'll ever heard of them??? Toby, Although, almost all top notch guns with your typical American names have parts made elsewhere.S&W,Colt,Ruger etc. Find a company you trust, rather than one that offers a good deal. $300 don't sound bad,but shop around.Offer at least 10% less than the asking price on a new gun...and 30% on a used gun and work from there. At a gun show,go the first day, find what you want. Then the last two hours on the last day.Prices usually will change in your favor during those hours. Stand fast to the 10%/30% thinking.Dealers will still deal. Never, ever buy a gun at retail price. Also, never believe the retail price posted by a dealer.Contact the Mfg to get their srp. snake-eyes

Thanks fellers!
I looked around some more and on GunBroker.com, there's a PAIR of Taurus SA .45LC's for around $200.00 each UNFIRED!!! A "Cowboy Action" shooter bought the guns for the "Fast Draw" competition and then never got to fire them.
I put on a $275.00 bid on one of them. Add $15.00 for shipping to my buddy with a FFL and whatever few bucks he'll charge me for the paperwork. If I lose the auction on that revover, then I think I'll take a longer look at EAA's "Bounty Hunter" model.
I WANT a Ruger BADLY TT, but damned if I can scratch up double the money for a sidearm I'll prolly rarely shoot except for the occasional hog.
My Charles Daly .45 1911 is my truck gun, my .38 Derringer is my pocket gun, my P38 Taurus in .22lr is my favorite plinker, and my Colt Python .357 has been my big game revolver out to 50yds. I'm skeered something will happen to the Colt and I can't replace it. So I want to get a hog buster to tote along that won't break my bank and I won't mourn if I get it scratched up a little.
I was torn about .45LC vs the .44Mag. Hands down the .44Mag is the suprior round, but the .45LC is stll plenty medicine on a wild hog.
Besides, I'm kinda excited about Taurus's "Lightening", pump action rile in .45LC also. Be kinda cool to shoot one of them and have the same rounds as the hand gun.

Toby, Don't underestimate the Taurus's single action revolvers... You will love it,especially in .45LC. If not send it to me,and I will melt it down and tell all it is (BS) I also have a bridge for sale ;D
