The local strawberries are being harvested (and ate ) full blast at this time. I have a case of strawberry preserves.
Anybody have a strawberry pie recipe using Splenda?
Any other ideas? Besides strawberry pancakes. We have them every other day.

Sweeten them, puree them, if you want add gelatin if not don't worry about it, pour them into a prebaked shell or gram cracker crust, cover them up with whipped cream, dress them up with whole or sliced berries, chill 'em real good and chow down.

Strawberry wine. Strawberry shortcake.
I like strawberrys cut up and covered with Splenda or sugar, and set in the fridge for a few hours so they can make their own juice. Then put them over a bowl of vanilla ice cream or use the like that mixed with whipped cream and poured into a graham cracker pie crust and tossed in the freezer for a few hours. Man oh man is that good!
Bake a lemon pound cake and put a slice of that in yer bowl and cover it with strawberries that have been cut and sweetend. It's wonderful!
My sister Michelle once baked a ham with a honey/strawberry glaze and it was incredible! ;D

Can you believe, Paws, she's married to a skinny little asshole who doesn't like to eat. She's an awesome cook and loves to send time in the kitchen, but he rarely eats what she prepares.
He looks like a grubworm with the crap squeezed out of it from his near annorhexia. Still, when she gets company or when she comes by Mom's, she hits the kitchen and comes up with some incredible surprises.
Honestly Paws, if you lived in Florida, I'd take that boy out on a LONG hunting trip and lose him! ;D

Do you guys put manure on your strawberries? Toby quit misdirecting the thread! That better Mars? Oh, my Step mom mixed them with cooked rhubarb cut up and baked in pies with a "thickening" made of flour and water, not a roue as it wasn't cooked prior to baking. A bit tart, not terrible though.

Another good evening treat is take the strawberries and slice 'em up and put a few spoons of sugar or splenda on 'em to get them making their juice and slice up a couple of bananas in it and mix it up real good and let it set in the fridge for a few hours. It's good as is or over vanilla ice cream!
