Sorry to hear about the cancellation. Hope she gets rescheduled very soon. Cancelled at the last minute.... Prolly had a T time open up at the local course..... Now Toby, that ain't no way to be thinkin'. How do you know that there wasn't a bad car crash and the surgeon didn't called in for life saving emergency surgery? It happens. It was a beautiful day to putt a little ball around the hayfield though. Faith, Darn you change forum names as often as Phil changes wives... Phil's way ahead of me there! I've been "Buck n Beans" since day 1 on here. Figured after five years, it was time for a change.

Yeah Toby! I mean gee whiz! It was New Year's Eve 1972 and standing beside my hospital bed was a surgeon all dressed in his black tie and tails getting ready to rip out my appendix at like 11:00 PM! Of course he still had his golf cleats on!

Anybody know anything about Snake? I left him a PM this morning when he was on but no response. I also left a message for the Misses on Facebook. Her account has not been used in some time and Snake has not posted here for over a week. We piss him off? I'd rather piss him off than think something is bad wrong with his wife.

To all, Please accept my apology for not keeping all advised of Mrs snakes (Linda's) condition. It has been hectic. She had her surgery on the 16th and according to her surgeon was a success. However, two days later she was moved to a nursing home for rehab, which we had not anticipated. She will be there for at least two weeks. Her spirits are high. Her recovery is a bit more than she expected. I see improvement with each passing day. But I am not sure if the improvement is for her, or to make me feel that way. I would appreciate your continued prayers for us all. Thanks

To all, Well she don't know when she will be coming home, but has issued orders to my daughter to have a recliner chair in the house when she arrives. Mrs snake is hard to please when it comes to furniture, colors and such.I told my daughter to get what works & I will take care of the Linda fallout....

Fabrics and colors can always be changed.

Just get her one that's comfortable and works, she can always cover it with a blanket if she thinks it's too ugly, lol. But, if she's feeling good enough to fuss, then she'll be feeling good enough to heal. Around here, it's when Moma ain't complaining, we get skeered!

Keep them prayers coming. She has blood clots in both legs, which they are treating with drugs. They seem to be working, but has kept her from the physical rehab she desperately needs. What started out as a serious operation, has turned into a family situation. She is my wife of 26 years, but her brother & older sister think they know what is best for her......There will be a time when I will say enough.I know her better than her family. And just when you think it can't get worse, our beloved basset hound starts having diabetic seizures! Twice in two weeks.....If you have never seen one.....It would break your animal loving heart. Honestly,I think his first one was harder on me,than him.....I thought he was dying(even gave him mouth to nose). Then started honey on the gums. Actually all this takes place in 3/4 minutes, but seems like forever when it does. When Mrs snake comes home,Deuce&Lucy better be there. If not,I will be in the "Witness Protection" program!
