Hello to one and All,
Here is another event we will be attending in May in Sunbury Ohio,there is a battle there on sat & sun,with a night fire.There is a sat evening meal & sun breakfast. There is a ball and a Lady's tea,also modern camping up but no hookups. We have attend a couple times before,they have good food and it was fun. Any questions feel free to ask me.

Keep me on track Bruce. What is the word on your uniform? I invited Bruce to Put In Bay but no word on him yet. Tony and Chris want to attend though. Tony has a gal friend who might want to come as well.

Here is some more info on Sunbury's event. The paper work is already there,we were the first to register for there event,same way with east harbor event,hope to see you at both. May 20-22 - Sunbury, OH - Ohio Civil War Reenactment and Living History Pageant Attention all loyal sons, we will be recreating life in a small Ohio town in the Spring of 1861. Saturday & Sunday Battles, Artillery Night Fire, Blue/Gray Ball, Living History Pageant Sanitary Fair, Saturday & Sunday Breakfast, Saturday Evening Meal, Bounties. Many activities for the ladies including: Antique & Specialty Shops and Ladies Tea. Authentic & Modern Camping (no hookups). $7 per adult reactor (14 and over) and $4 per youth (5 - 14) before April 1, 2011, $12 per adult reenactor and $6 per youth after April 1 and for walk-ons. $25 Sutler’s Fee. Must preregister to claim bounties. If you want to help reenact a seldom displayed scenario please attend. Sponsored by the Gen. This is a resort area, and has many attractions, for both young and old, including Cedar Point, wineries, aqua parks etc. The park has a swimming beach, and full amenities, with hot showers and regular bathrooms. This year we will be focusing on the start of the 150th anniversary of the conflict, and thus will concentrate on the momentous happenings of 1861. To that end, we will have a bombardment of " Fort Sumter", and the battles will be 1st. Manassass/Bull Run. Dinner will be served to all participants, and there will be a dance on Saturday evening. Hey Lt Col Reynolds just wanted to let you know to be sure you have powder before you go to Sunbury. WHY, is now they will give you a check for the bounties instead of powder. The hazmate fees are so high they would rather give you a check. I to am reg for Sunbury with my small but really loud pea popper. So I just wanted to for warn you about that. Hope while we are at Sunbury we can fly a white flag so that us brothers can sit a bit and chat with each other. My walking is still slow,but upper body strength is better soooo,I still won't be able to out run anyone...............YET that is.
