Hey guys, Sorry to have been out of commish for a bit. Physically I am quite well, but had a round with the computer, And got my Yahoo email account hacked, then had to work an overhaul that drug on worse than a Freddy Kruger sequel (though it did help me financially). Bill, I am very sorry I missed your call. Would have enjoyed getting to talk to you. I must have been out of the house or something. I seem to do a lot of running around after my brood when I do finally get some days off. Well, I am about to get myself out of debt, and will end up with a pretty decent truck in the process. Back in 2006, I bought a brand new Chevy Colorado crew-cab. Nice little truck, but wasn't 4WD. I don't know what was wrong with me, but I ended up letting my nephew and his wife take over payments on it. We left the paperwork in my name and she deposited into my account every month and I continued to make the payments. Well, she got the itch for a newer Dodge Charger and bought one for an incredible price. Curtis told me they were going to pay off the Chevy and sell his 2003 full-size Dodge 4X4. I asked him what he wanted out of the truck and what he quoted me was about what is still owed on the Chevy. I made the offer to pay off the Chevy and swap titles. He liked the idea. The Dodge is in excellent condition and gets as good in mileage as my ancient Ford F-150. I figured that although the Ford is still a pretty nice truck and extremely low miles for it's age...it is still a 25 year old truck. If I go on a trip in it and it breaks down, I will be stuck wherever until parts are shipped in since none of the parts houses stock diddly-squat for a vehicle that old. I'll wash it up all nice and put a 'For Sale' sign on it. Being it is a classic body style, I doubt I will have any trouble unloading it. People have worried the heck out of me wanting to buy it for years. So, it wounds like I will be about set up for next year when I am eligible to retire (depending on the economy). Got a lot of remodeling and repairs I need to do around the place here, but will do it as I have the money...no more loans to pay off! Hey, I will try to stay in touch a little better than I have for the past several months. Thank you guys for thinking about me, and I apologize for causing any worries. I'm going to try to get my Yahoo address book put back together (I had deleted it to keep the hackers from getting to all my contacts). Like a bad penny, I keep turning up! Best regards always, -Rogue-
