big pig hanging in the smoker cherry wood for smoke it'll come out at about 1 tomorrow afternoon..doing 3 turkeys this year they are in the brine and will go on in the AM and off at 1PM also...lots to do between now and then...and one of them is to smoke a fine cigar and sip a snifter of brandy...kick back and relax for a bit...tend the fire and shoot the breeze with the guys...see ya tomorrow...

I have to get the card from Girly Girl...but man what a feast...we slow roasted the bugger all night and up to about, noon turkeys went on a 7:30 this morning. and came off at the same time...all smoked with wild cherry wood...what a sweet smelling smoke...this was probably the best one we have done yet..and the turkle byrds..OMG them folks is hooked..lots of salads and sides..I'm still stuffed to the gills...dn't get as many folks as we would like to have had..weather is partially to blame..but not a real excuse..did ok though at about 60-70 folks and more counting the li'l kids...beat and ready for the sack...makes for a very long day...
