Well, I guess I should show some manners and introduce myself. Just call me Tick. Just an everyday shmoe getting through this world as best as I can manage with the gifts and bounty God has seen to bless me with. Things aren't too rough, but its not too smooth either. Do a little varmit and deer hunting when I get a chance. Do some foraging and I do some campfire cooking/grilling/baking, too. Although most of it isn't too pretty to look at. Must taste half-way decent though because nobody's thrown it back at me yet. That's about all I have to say about myself for now. Give me a chance to catch up on what's going on in your group. Sounds like most of the people on here are pretty level headed.

So.....Why's the message scroll saying it's my birthday??? I was a January snowstorm baby. Did I enter it wrong? Or are ya just ribbing me about that frozen cake?

Well, God granted two miracles for me today; (1) made today your birthday and (2) turned lettuce into cabbage!

;D ;D Ya think He could do one more? I'd like some of the rhubarb I have left from last years Athens farmers market turned into blackberries. Between blight and too many pickers out this summer, I didn't get more than a couple quarts - and those were the ones I got in the back yard. Roadside thickets were stripped clean of ripe ones. Rest just shriveled up on the canes.
