Well, while we're all an bended knee tonight..... I just got off the phone with Lana. Apparently her husband is eating all the food that she gets on WIC and foodstamps and not letting her eat enough to stay healthy during this pregnacy. I have verified all of this with my mom and she says that yes Lana is very thin and is losing weight. She's down to 110# at 5 months along. The other night, she was in the ER with seizures. Jason called and said that after 10 minutes of convulsing he got worried because she wouldn't respond to the radio and decided to ask his mom for advice since she's supposedly a nurses aid.
Lana wants to come home so she can get some food in body and have the baby here. Jason is only thinking about himself and the baby he has with a previous gal. He and his family are trying to brainwash her into thinking that since we couldn't make it down for the wedding, then we don't care for her and should just stay away. More or less, he's worried he's going to lose Lana and her baby sitting service and he won't be able to run around with his buddies all the time.
So please pray for Lana and Jason and for us that we can somehow get enough gas to make a quick down-and-back rescue trip to Kentucky. It's our daughter and grandbaby who come first here and we're all extremely worried for them.

Bummer! You need trip money to fetch her or firepower let me know. If I were you I might make a call to KY Adult Protective Services. By law they are required to conduct an investigation when a report is received. I can not express how happy I am that she called you asking for help. Step one is done. Have faith Faith.

I called them. Was told they'd go check it out, but doubt there's much they can do since he isn't physically restraining her to keep her from eating or physically abusing her (yet, or that she'll admit to). So what do you think? Should I ask KY state police to accompany me if I go to pick her up? Guess Jason got pretty mad last night when Lana asked to come home. Said she ain't going nowhere without him and he sure as shit ain't coming to Ohio - especially here for 5 or 6 months until baby arrives. He has to look out for what's best for the other baby first. (He only has weekend visitation. So what's the problem?)

They get in there and get a peek at her they will get her isolated and get the truth. Sit tight for a while. If he is talking like that he is a control freak and they will figure it out real quick.

Ain't no doubt he's a control freak. He tried it with us before they were ever married. That didn't go far! I hoping she got my FB messange yesterday before she went to her doctor appt. I told her to let the dr know what's going on 'cause he has the authority to do something about it. She hasn't logged on over there but once since then. She dropped me a note and said she can't talk because he's always around. But I did see that right after they got home he posted and said that he did not like what he was told (today). So maybe somebody put a flame under his arse.
