This sounds great. It's worth trying at least!
For those of us who love corn on the cob, this is an absolute must see! No mess to preparing it, no silks to try to brush out of the corn, it comes out clean.

Little Japanese gal there did six ears to all else's 1/2. Could not believe my eyes.

Sounds interesting. Have never thought about nuking corn. For some reason though, I'm getting a picture in my mind of what happens to any bugs or born borers though. It's that same picture I got when I heard Robin Williams do his Mr. Rogers bit about putting Mr. Hampster in the microwave..."POP goes the weasle!" The thought of splattered next to the kernels just makes me sick. Maybe one could husk it first, then nuke it.

Dad and I used to enter husking contests and have gone round and round on if a peg actually makes things faster.

Ain't never microwaved corn... Somehow, it just don't seem right... We always just dumped 'em right out of the bushel basket straight into the big pot outside...same one we ue for the crab n crawfish.
