Sharon's numbers came back bad indicating there might be the onset of kidney failure. She is scheduled for more tests. You guys know what to do. While you are at it I could use a word or two please.

Thank you. I am really not so much worried about the kidney labs, as so much things play into the results. I will know when other tests are done.
What really worries me is my heart. I was suppose to feel so much better after having the pacemaker and defib. Not!! My pulse is up, but my B/P has dropped like a time bomb. Saturday AM it was 80/53..No Joke!! I need to take Coreg to strenghten my very weak heart muscle, but can't take if my B/P is low. They did not put the third lead in my heart when they placed the ICD. I think that the left side needs help with the third lead. I go tomorrow to get the Holter Monitor. Then, returning it on Wed. There is nothing that I can do to get the pressure up. If, I get up and do things and park myself for 5 mins. and then take the B/P it drops and now I am experiencing shortness of breath, which tells me from nursing that I really need the third lead, but I am not a doctor.

Thanks for the prayers. I thought I had the flu. Looked up my Victoza side effects on the net and they are identical to everything I was experiencing. Doc had kicked me up to the maximum dosage. Prior to that I was having a bad belch problem which I attributed to the Victoza as well. I kicked it down to where I was with the belches, yepo; they came back so I kicked it down to the minimum dosage. Damned sugar is way back up again. Went from 188 Sunday to 228 Monday. That's an AM fast which should be at 120 or less. Looks like I got to hit the exercise thing pretty much hard core and full time if I want any improvement. Gee I hope I don't turn into Schwartzenager or worse; Jane Fonda!

Been having more health problems. My last labs showed problems with the renal system never before as I kept all my labs to compare. I had a renal ultrasound 4-20-12, last Friday. I got a called from my doc that I needed to be at her office @9 AM this Tuesday. She comes in and I asked her what the bad news is for the week. Left kidney enlarged and the edges are bumpy and not smooth. She scheduled me for an Abd. CT scan for today and also an appointment today for the urologist. I had the scan and went for the doc's appt. he gets the ultrasound films and I have 2 kidney stones. I am pain free and no blood noted in urine. The one causing the problem s the one at the tip of the ureter where it is attached to the kidney and it is not allowing the urine to flow. The second on is larger in the kidney. It is all the left kidney the right one is OK. I am scheduled for lithatripsy next Wed. as a mobile units only come to this hospital once a month. Also, having a cysto with retrograde and he is planning to put a stent in the ureter. My B/P reamins low, but the cardiologist does not seem to be worried. I had the 48 hrs. HOlter Monitor and it only ran for 17 hrs. I have been told they probably did not re-set it from the last one that had it??

lithatripsy ? Isn't that where you turn into a werewolf? I think this one will be an easy ride . Glad they found out the cause of the problem.

Prayer Warriors: Our friend Sharon Riffle is in ICU at Huntington with Congestive Heart Failure. She went in for a couple of procedures that appeared to go fine. She says she needs to rest and will provide more information later. You guys know what to do.

Might want to say prayer or two for the doctors. Looks like their stuff was pretty ragged and her daughter, Greta Davis "Esq" is plain pissed. Hope their mal-practice insurance is paid up!

Well it appears that this event stems from a lack of coordination/communication among the various physicians. I pointed out to Sharon that it would be in Greta's interest to make Momma a millionaire before she becomes an heiress.

Thanks you guys for the prayers! I felt terribly bad yesterday..in bed and that is not me!!
I am so upset for all the errors. I was there at 7AM and did not go into SX until 12N.
My doc and the urologist knew I have the ICD, but failed to listen or include it in my history and Phyiscal...they called it something else now. Then, instead of, KVO for the IV drip..they ran a liter through before I went into SX. I told them that my B/P had been so low since getting the ICD. Sure, when I walked from the front of the hospital to the Day surgery area...yes, it was up and stayed there with anxiety building from all the delays. I do not think that I was given the correct anesthesia plus drowning me with IV fluids I was in Acute Congestive Heart Failure. I was fine or I can have not walked from one end of the hospital to the other or I would have been SOB big time!! Then, I was told they want to observed in ICU due to my low B/P and give me IV dopamine Hello!!!! I told them of my low B/P. But, the biggest things was to get the fluid out of my lungs PDQ...I know what they were doing.
I having been a nurse....they do not play with this one. My question is? How many years did this take off my life?? I may be stupid, but not dumb..you know I just wonder what happens to ones that have no knowledge of medicine.
I return to my GP this Thursday and this visit could become heated. She is also Chief of Staff. She had left on vacation Tuesday before I went in on Wed.
The urologist told Greta that they got stone/stones..time will tell when I have to have a KUB prior to seeing him in 2 wks.
I have been poked and proded for the last time with that bunch!!

Lost a cousin Saturday AM. He was born with spina bifida and was in braces and used crutches since old enough to walk and the last 25 yrs. in Wheelcahir. His mother took him to school and while he was in high school she tooks classes that she hadn't had. she also took him to a Business College and he graduated. He had retired from being our County Clerk of Courts for 27 yrs. Then, he went on to be a greeter at Wally's. He never once felt sorry for himself, ever. I knew that he had had kidney problems for years. Early last week his kidneys had shut down and some heart problems. They had thought that he was getting better, only to be the calm before the storm. He was very active in the Masonic Lodge and he had lost his Dad 9 mos. ago. His family was very close to mine and their family would come to visit about every week. I talked with his youngest brother last night as I was concerned about his mother.
