Fur buyers are forecasting another high demand from the European markets, which will keep prices sky high again this fall and Winter!
Coons are looking to be worth up to $15 simply skinned and frozen (in the grease). Take the time to properly flesh and stretch and double the value!
Fox and coyote are both expected to open up in the $35-$45 range for average offerings.
Bobcat remains to be the real money maker for a lucky trapper. Average pelts are expected to fetch upwards of $400 and large western pelts can go as high as $1,200!!!
Just thought I'd pass this on to anybody looking for some extra, tax free, cash this Fall/Winter. You can bet yer arse, I'll be out there running a line!!!

petskafur.net/western-bobcats/This is the guy I sold to last Fall before heading home. He paid out $30 average on coyotes and $35 for my red fox all in the grease as I didn't have the tools to finish the pelts. One big red fox I brought to him unskinned, I had caught it the morning I took my fall and never was able to get to it; I got $14 for it. The prices he listed here was where he started the season. I know of two different folks that got over a grand on large western bobcats last January. I was talking with Bill Pruit of the NAFA (North American urbearers Associatio) who runs the largest fur auction in North America and the forecast I posted earlier was what he told me. It looks to be a fine season coming up...if I don't do anything stupid and get myself banged up again, lol.

Got a red fox hotspot today in Lacoochee, Fl. I have to apply for predation tags, but they're easy to get and the farmer's PO'd about the chickens he's been losing. I told him I'd be glad to get 'em caught, but that I can't do it until hunting season, lol. So he asked if I can be there in November. Praying for early cold weather to prime 'em up!
And tonight when I got in from the hospital, around midnight, the coyotes were singing down in the oak flats behind the pasture. Oh yeah...their asses are in big trouble this Fall as well!!!
