I'm heading out tomorrow, but still ain't figured out what I'm going to hunt for.
Archery for deer.
Black Powder for hogs.
or shotgun for ducks.
Decisions, decisions, decisions...
Ya'll have a good and safe hunt tomorrow and I'll check in let you know how I do.

Time is short for me. I've worked so many bonus days, after family time, I've had a pittance for hunting opportunities. Archery deer season ends Jan 15. I'm hoping for just one more hunt. I haven't been out since Nov 15. Then, I'll have one more month to get some squirrels. I have a modest goal; Take my daily limit of squirrels (6 in MO) with my .22 pistol. That should actually carry a degree of difficulty. I've never done it. But I've always wanted to see if I could make it happen.

I fdecided to use the day to fill my hog feeders, which are starting to show a bit of life again, now that the acorns are disappearing some. But, I did get in a little duck hunting in the evening. It was blowing up something terrible and the bay had whitecaps all over it. I thought a couple of times I'd have to cal it quits, but I made it into my special spot and got ready.
I saw tons of quackers, but they were either out of range or surprised me from behind. I only got off a couple of shots in the hour I was able to hunt and missed both times, I'm ashamed to admit.
Still, it was better than staying home!!!!
Oh, I did see a mixed flock of jakes and gobblers, that had around fifteen birds in it, three coons, a couple gopher turtles, one eagle, and a butt-load of other birds. Got some pretty good pictures to of a great sunset over Homassassa Bay.
