Yes Othmar we are in agreement. I can hardly wait until I can get into a blind with that cross bow and begin the wait. This is going to be an exciting season for me I believe. I'm buying all the tags I can legally own because I just got a feeling this is going to be a very productive year. ;D You are a man after my own. You are so right to be a sucessful hunter you have to be optimistic because that gives you the staying power to wait the deer out. Of course the most important aspect of a sucessful hunt is scouting. For me scouting is the actual hunt. If I scout right then all thats left to do is sit in the treestand and kill a deer. Soon I will get a new website on line all about hunting, I fancy myself a bit as an outdoor writer with a few published articles and a few hunting seminars under my belt. I still hope that one day I can make hunting semi professional for me. It sounds like you are like me. I too go game tag shopping with a shopping cart, all that is available to me. I learned that the hard way some years back when I sat in my tree stand and waited for a nice buck to come down the trail. After sitting for two hours an even nicer elk came and meandered under my tree stand. No elk tag in my pocket I could have kicked my self. Eventually, after watching the elk for a solid half hour loafing around I got enough and shouted at him " go away you...". Needless to mention that this temper outburst let every living hunteable critter in the woods stay away from my stand a good time to relocate and look for greener pastures. Regards Othmar
