Well I just got a e mail today that said me and my son drew a turkey tag in Utah. The problem is that my son's hunt starts on 4-15 and ends on 4-23 then my hunt starts on 4-24 and ends on 5-07 and it is about a 300 mile drive to get there, so I guess we will hunt the last part of his season and the first part of mine. This will be my son's first turkey hunt. It will be a good just to spend the time together. We should find out the draw results in Nevada in the next couple of weeks to see if we can hunt turkeys here. It sure is a pain in the behind having to draw for anything you want to hunt around here.

Dan our turkey season will be opening for Spring in not too many more days. We don't have to draw, just pay through the nose! ;D Licenses and tags about keep a retired man broke! What kinds of calls do you use? I stick with the box calls cause folks are always telling me something's wrong with my mouth!

I just walked into Walmart this morning and bought my Sportsman's License, $80. It has everything on it including the Spring and Fall turkey tags.

I hope each of you get a chance to use at least one of those tags. I'm looking forward to this years season. It's going to start in S. Fl. next weekend and they're gobbling hard right now.
If I get a chance I'll be heading south Saturday morning, but it all hinges on family obligations. If they need me, I'll be there and the turkeys can go get a little fatter!
I've got quite a few guys coming in from out of state in the next few weeks, so I'll wait until late in the season before I get too crazy about getting my own.
I've got a few hunts out of state also. Wish me luck!
