Turkey season here in central Florida doesn't start until the seventeenth, but I get to start a bit earlier this year. I was contacted by a professional photographer who inquired if I could make myself available to him to photograph Osceola Wild Turkeys. After careful consideration, I told him the going rates about a thousand dollars a day to hunt Osceola's down here, but since wasn't harvesting anything I'd take him for two-fifty. Fugger jumped all over it! I know a spot on private land that's eat up with turkeys that I'm not allowed to hunt, but I have permission to be on the property. There's a dozen gobblers in there every morning gobbling their heads off, so I'm gonna take him there tomorrow about six in the am. It'll be like a dress rehearsal for the season opener and I can realy use the dough right now. I'll be taking along one of my own box calls, a wingbone I assembled, and one of Brian's glass calls. It ought to be fun!
