We got off the beaten path yesterday. Skipping I35 in SanAnotio Austin Bumprt to bumper. We headed north out of Devine TX to Hondo, Banadera, Fredricksburg LLano. Fort Hood on in to ETEX,
If anyone is ever down in that area early April PLEASE make a road trip threw the HILL COUNTRY.
With nice spring rains the Blue Bonnets, Poppy, Yellow broom, Indain Paint Brushes, in mass bloom in lush green back drops and the dark green of the live oak to the light yellow green of the mesqute.
It was such a releif; GOD saying; Here is My beauty to help cover your loss.

Thanks for reminding us to look out our window. If you think that looks great just wait and see what God has in store for us at His place!

How very true, Phil!
God has His way of using His creation to touch our hearts and open our eyes when we've closed ourselves to Him. I've been a hard azz to Mike and most others lately and have chewed him (and HIM) out for everything under the sun. He finally broke me down the other evening with a big basket of switches. I mean a bundle of beautiful red buds, apple blossoms, dog wood and numerous other fragrant blossoms to lift my spirits and make me smile. The blossoms were unasked for, unexpected (heck, I hadn't even noticed that anything was in bloom) for and given unconditionally -- Just as God gives His love to us.
