Close Freddie, but not quite. Taters? Yes. Onions? Yes. Pork Shoulder? Nope. Look close at the first picture. Everything is there in view and you should be able to pick up a hint about the meat and cut.

Looks like pork to me even maybe the wild kind. Looks like some garlic cloves as well.

Awww you guys are GOOD. Yup, we are seeing a deer ham. What is there, is some round steaks I had cut off the top and the lower half of the ham with the shank. The piece between those cuts was glazed and cooked slow on the smoler like a brisket. There are about 6 cloves of garlic (crushed) in there too. To be fair, the reason it kinda looks like pork is because I already it cooking for a couple minutes before I took the picture. The first picture was taken at about 8 am, the 3rd picture around 11 or so. Good job y'all, what do y'all think I should have done next?

I'd add some sliver slices of colored bell pepper to add "color", pull out all the bones, add a good red wine and simmer in a crockpot for an hour or so. Serve on a bed of boiled cabbage.
